Blusher is a key ingredient in most people's makeup routine as it can help to brighten up your facial features, add a healthy glow, and contour your cheekbones and outline. This is because applying blush helps to lift the look of your complexion by adding colour back into the skin. Your complexion naturally has different tones within it, which are all indicators of health and age and these can be lost after applying foundation and concealer - especially when using full-coverage formulas. Blusher colour should adapt to the seasons as your skin tone changes.
