Primers
Makeup primers are a great way to ensure that the foundation, concealer and cosmetic colour that you apply lasts a long time and does not change in colour. Essentially, Makeup Primers create a barrier between the product and your skin and the cosmetics used stick to the Makeup Primer and are not absorbed into the skin itself, giving beautiful, airbrushed and long lasting Makeup results.
Makeup Primers are to be used underneath eyeshadow, foundation, lipstick, mascara, and even nail polish to create a smooth base that helps keep your other products in place all day. Makeup Primers can also reduce the amount of makeup you use, giving a fuller look by adhering to the Primer and not the skin. This process can also make application a little easier and give an even result.
When applying a skin, eye or lip primer the general rule is to use a moisturiser or serum first, leave the skin to absorb this for a few minutes applying just a light layer of primer from the centre of the face outwards towards the hair line with light dabbing motions using, preferably, a sponge. Leave again for a few minutes before applying foundation of cosmetic colour.
