Chant d'Aromes perfume is a fragrance that brings spring and autumn to mind, with rich mossy, Chypre elements, soft citrus and dry woods, for a sensual and yet exhuberant essence. In the 1960s, Guerlain Chant d'Aromes perfume was given as a gift for blossoming love and it became custom to give it to all young women at the Debutantes' Ball.
Guerlain Chant d'Aromes song begins with notes of Citrus, such as Mandarin and Bergamot mixed with an effervescent note of Plum, set to rhythm by airy notes of Honeysuckle and sensual Chypre tones of Aldehydes. The melody is resumed in a chorus with a floral accord of Gardenia, Jasmine and Ylang-ylang made spicy by the addition of Clove. Then the music softens with notes of Underbrush, Vetiver, Heliotrope, Benzoin. Sandalwood and Vanilla and an unusual earthy Forest note.
