Miller Harris Celadon Perfume is inspired by a passage in the classic novelette by Cao Xueqin called 'The Dream of the Red Chamber' that describes the shower of rain and the world of waxy green grass and clear white purity that is created from it.

For Celadon Miller Harris wanted to use notes that reflect the historic Chinese origin of the novel. This central aspiration to the perfume's creation explains the unusual and sensuous application of Cardamom, Magnolia, Smoked Tea, and Mate Tea that instantly transport us to the visions and aromas of China.

Miller Harris Celadon perfume perfectly recreates a dewy shower of rain set against a story of the jade stone. Enchanting with opening green notes of Tomato Leaf, given vivacity by the addition of freshly brewed Ceylon Tea and an almost grassy Verbena, all peppered by tones of Cardamom instantly recall the grass and the jade stone at the centre of the masterpiece ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’ by Cao Xuequin. The heart is a aromatic and floral of Basil Rose, and Tuberose, with complex, pure tones, where citrus notes sparkle with cardamom, tranquil magnolia and mate tea that take us on a journey of discovery.
