Vetiver Insolent perfume is a unique rebellious take on a classic Vetiver blend with a very sensual, energetic and modern spirit, donated by spicy and smoky floral notes. For Miller Harris Vetiver Insolent perfume they use all the facets of Vetiver, the forest floor earthiness of the root of this magical ingredient is juxtaposed with the smoky resin of Elemi, the woody elements of Black Pepper and the brazen freshness of Bergamot and Cardamom.

This perfume is an exploration of vetiver, grown for Miller Harris in Haiti. Created in 2016 by perfumer Mathieu Nardin, as a love note to this heralded note in perfumery; 'I love vetiver and I wanted to bring something a little different to the formulation, something sexy an fresh, a touch of grapefruit, a texture of wood.”

Vetiver Insolent perfume begins with a woody, slightly lemony touch of Elemi and Bergamot, seamlessly contrasted with spicy Cardamom and inflections of Black Pepper. The heart is a beautiful contrast with the delicately powdery florality of Iris, enhanced in depth by Amber and given an aromatic twist with the inclusion of Lavender. The base is a deep and sensual exploration of the key note, where the dewy forest floor quality of Vetiver is enhanced by lashings of Oakmoss and given an addictive sweetness with Tonka Bean.
