YSL Paris EDP begins with bright and aromatic Rose, peppered by Mimosa and given green, springlike aromatic tones with the introduction of Hiacynith, Geranium, Nastutium and Hawthorn. These are given brightness and a slightly sweet edge by the addition of Cassia. The heart is an abundant bouquet of opulent flowers, where Rose, Violet Ylang Ylang and the delicate dew of Lily of the Valley are paired with the sensual aroma of Iris root. The base is traditionally woody to give clarity to the bouquet and combines Iris, Musk, Heliotrope, Sandalwood, Amber and Cedar but is dominated by an almost humid Oakmoss.
